§1. Data Controller
The controller of personal data is Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Hotelarskich i Turystycznych „Kraków” Sp. z o. o., with its registered office in Kraków at ul. Fatimska 41, 31-831 Kraków, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for Kraków–Śródmieście in Kraków, 11th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000300761 (hereinafter: the Controller or Service Provider). Data protection is carried out in accordance with generally applicable law, and data are stored on secure servers. Terms are interpreted according to the definitions in the Terms and Conditions or as described in the Privacy Policy (where this follows directly from the description). For ease of reading, the term “User” in this Privacy Policy has been replaced with “You”, and “Controller” with “We”. “GDPR” means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on protecting natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC. We respect your right to privacy and protect data security. For this purpose, we use, among other things, a secure communication encryption protocol (SSL). Personal data entered in the form at https://www.hotelboruta.pl are treated as confidential and are not visible to unauthorised persons.
§2. Scope, purpose and period of data processing
The Service Provider is the controller of its customers’ data. This means that if you use the contact form on our website, we process your data, such as your first name, surname, email address and IP address. Personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR and the implemented Privacy Policy, to the extent and for the purpose necessary to establish contact and properly provide electronic services. The processing period is linked to the purposes indicated above. Accordingly, personal data will be processed for the period necessary to properly provide the services. This period may be extended where the law requires the Controller to retain personal data longer, and during the limitation period for potential claims for which the data are necessary. You have the right to request information about processed personal data, the processing purpose, data recipients and the planned retention period; to amend, correct or complete your personal data; to object to processing; and to request deletion of your personal data. We reserve the right to process your data after consent is withdrawn only to the extent necessary to pursue potential claims in court or where national, EU or international law requires us to retain the data. You may contact the Personal Data Controller supervising data processing at PUHiT „Kraków” in Kraków electronically at marketing@puhit.com.pl. The Service Provider may disclose the User’s personal data and other data to entities authorised under applicable law (e.g. law enforcement authorities). The Service Provider does not disclose personal data to entities other than those authorised under applicable law. We have implemented pseudonymisation, data encryption and access controls, thereby minimising the effects of any data security breach. Personal data are processed only by persons authorised by us or by processors with whom we cooperate closely. In such cases, the Controller ensures appropriate protection against access by unauthorised persons.
§3. Cookies
The website https://www.hotelboruta.pl uses cookies. These are small text files sent by a web server and stored by the browser software on a computer. When the browser reconnects to the website, the site recognises the type of device used by the visitor. Their parameters allow the information they contain to be read only by the server that created them. Cookies therefore make it easier to use previously visited websites. The information collected concerns the IP address, browser type, language, operating system, internet service provider, date and time, location, and information sent to the website through the contact form. The collected data are used to monitor and check how users use our websites, improving site operation and providing more efficient, trouble-free navigation. We monitor user information using Google Analytics, which records user behaviour on the website. Cookies identify the user, allowing the site content to be tailored to their needs. By remembering preferences, they enable advertisements directed to the user to be appropriately tailored. We use cookies to ensure the highest standard of convenience on our website; collected data are used only within https://www.hotelboruta.pl to optimise operations. Our website uses the following cookies:
- “necessary” cookies, enabling use of services available on the website, e.g. authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication on the website;
- security cookies, e.g. used to detect authentication abuse on the website;
- “performance” cookies, enabling information to be collected about how the website pages are used;
- “functional” cookies, enabling selected user settings and interface personalisation to be “remembered”, e.g. the selected language or user’s region, font size, website appearance, etc.; the User may disable or re-enable cookie collection at any time by changing browser settings. Additional personal data, such as an email address, are collected only where the user has expressly consented while completing a form. We retain and use such data only as necessary to perform the relevant function.
Internet browsers usually allow cookies by default. You may disable them at any time; however, this may adversely affect the proper functioning of www.hotelboruta.pl.
§4. Complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office
If you believe that we process your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
